37 King Street is a boutique office space set across 1,830 sq ft, offering views across St Anns Square. This light, bright office provides a premium modern workspace in a prime location and needed an accompanying lighting scheme to reflect the company’s future-thinking ethos.
P&A Projects were appointed to the project by electrical contractor CSK Electrical to supply lighting features throughout the offices and meeting rooms.
The P&A Projects team also provided sample lighting calculations for specific areas, including the smaller meeting rooms, to ensure they met lighting guidelines whilst still providing appropriate and comfortable illumination.
For installation ease, the team were provided with lighting layouts and a lighting schedule, measuring and matching the right length of luminaires against each reference for a custom solution that meets the specific requirements of the design.
POLO is a spherical suspended architectural luminaire, which is not only stylish in appearance and provides a key focal point of the lighting scheme, but also provides substantial lumen power.
P&A Projects supplied two Dia POLO pendant luminaires and several Subspace 70 linear architectural luminaires across the four office floors, varying in size from 2410mm to 6610mm in length where needed.
King Street provides the highest standard in modern, city-centre workspaces. The building has been completely remodelled to provide four stylish, private offices which offer luxury onsite amenities including a rooftop terrace, gym, shower facilities, business lounge, and boardrooms.
Philip Ascroft, Managing Director at P&A Projects said: “We were proud to support King Street in updating their new modern office space, giving it a fresh and flexible lighting scheme to meet the changing needs of businesses. The lighting ensures a comfortable and creative environment for team members to innovate and meet their goals. This project was a fantastic opportunity for P&A Projects to demonstrate how our consultative expertise, bespoke design and manufacturing capabilities, and range of architectural lighting fixtures can meet the needs of individual spaces and requirements.”
