A stunning regeneration upgrade to a Grade II listed building within the heart of Manchester central business district.
What was a former Edwardian trade warehouse built for I.J. & G.Cooper Ltd, has been fully upgraded, whilst retaining existing fabric details, juxtaposed with modern lighting for dramatic effect.
Project overview
P&A is proud to contribute to the revitalisation of this listed building, located in the heart of the northern quarter of the city.
When the customer came and asked us provide a lighting solution, they stipulated us reuse the existing lighting rafts, this was a decisive factor within P&A’s design of the spaces.
With using our SS70 luminaire, we were able to create innovative tailored lighting solution to fit existing rafts on floors One through to fifth floor.
Tailored Harmonious lighting solution.
One of challenges on this project, located on the first floor there were some small meeting rooms, which a linear luminaire couldn’t be suspended central to the room due to the air conditioning units, this is where we able to produce tailored solution around the air-conditioning cassettes.
